Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
This is an initial policy template and requires final legal review before it should be relied upon as a complete, binding Privacy Policy. It does not yet include a registered legal entity name, mailing address, or jurisdiction, which will be added once finalized by UpperWebs and reviewed by counsel.
1. Who we are
UpperWebs ("UpperWebs," "we," "us," or "our") provides website design, hosting, domain registration, business email, and related business technology services to small and medium-sized businesses in the United States. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our website at https://upperwebs.com and our services.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information you provide, such as your name, business name, email address, and phone number, when you submit a contact form or request a service.
- Service information needed to provide a service you request, such as domain registrant contact details or website content you provide.
- Billing information processed through a third-party payment provider when you purchase a service (UpperWebs does not store full payment card details).
- Technical information, such as basic website usage data collected through standard web server and security tooling (for example, Cloudflare).
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and support the services you request
- Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form or email
- Process domain registrations and related registrar requirements
- Send service-related communications, such as billing or account notices
- Maintain the security and reliability of our website and services
4. Domain registration information
When you register a domain through UpperWebs, certain registrant contact information is required by the domain registry and/or ICANN and may be submitted to our registrar partner as part of registration. WHOIS privacy protection is available on domain extensions that support it, but accurate registrant information must still be collected and provided where required, regardless of whether privacy protection is enabled.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate our business — for example, our domain registrar partner, hosting/DNS provider, and (once selected) our payment processor and transactional email provider — solely to provide the services you request. We may also disclose information if required by law.
6. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, including secret management for API credentials and encrypted connections for our website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You may contact us at contact@upperwebs.com to ask questions about the information we hold about you or to request that we delete information we are not otherwise required to retain.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are intended for business use and are not directed to children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
